drew my first butterfly, in dedication to my boyfriend/fiancee (whatever we are c: ) As of today, I’m officially 23 days clean, and entering day one of my first ever, Butterfly Challenge. I love how my butterfly for him came out, and I love how the 13 came out. I was going to write his name, but I began thinking of my tattoo for him, and his tattoo for me. Both of which share the number 13. I’ve always wanted a tattoo of the number 13 on my wrist, so even though, sharpie isn’t permanent, this is pretty close.

I chose to dedicate my first butterfly to him, mostly because he has always been this one constant in my life, no matter what. We’ve had our rough patches, and we’ve both gone through hell. Yet through each hill and valley of our roller coaster, he’s always been the one I could turn to, who would pick me up, and brush me off and help me on the path to being okay again. He has loved me through every single scar, every fight, every mental problem I have. The connection him and I have, I don’t think I could ever give up. And I hope everyone can find this person to be with. He’s not just my boyfriend/fiancee, he is my best friend. We’re honest with each other, 113%. We laugh together, we love each other, we thrive off each other. He is the stitching holding me together. He deserves to be the first butterfly.
